জমজম বাংলাদেশ-এর উদ্যোগে “শিক্ষা উৎসব” সম্পন্ন
সিলেট: সমাজসেবামূলক শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমকে আরও গতিশীল ও কার্যকর করার লক্ষ্যে জমজম বাংলাদেশ-এর উদ্যোগে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে ‘শিক্ষা উৎসব’। মঙ্গলবার (৩০ ডিসেম্বর) সিলেট নগরীর রায়নগর দপ্তরীপাড়াস্থ জমজম একাডেমির হলরুমে এ উৎসব অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
অনুষ্ঠানে জমজম বাংলাদেশ-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা চেয়ারম্যান মঈন উদ্দিন চৌধুরীর সভাপতিত্বে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন যুক্তরাজ্য থেকে আগত বিশিষ্ট ইসলামী চিন্তাবিদ, লেখক ও টিভি ওয়ান-এর পরিচালক শাইখ মাহমুদুল হাসান। তিনি তাঁর বক্তব্যে শিক্ষা, নৈতিকতা ও আদর্শ মানুষ গঠনে ইসলামী মূল্যবোধের অপরিহার্যতার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন। অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতে স্বাগত বক্তব্য রাখেন জমজম বাংলাদেশ-এর নির্বাহী পরিচালক মাহবুব ছোবহানী চৌধুরী। তিনি জমজম বাংলাদেশের চলমান শিক্ষা ও সমাজ উন্নয়নমূলক কার্যক্রমের সংক্ষিপ্ত চিত্র তুলে ধরেন।
অনুষ্ঠানে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন এক্সিকিউটিভ কমিটির ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান আতাউর রহমান পীর, পরিচালক শাব্বির আহমদ চৌধুরী, পরিচালক জসিম উদ্দিন, ড. ওয়ালি তসর উদ্দিন, আফতাব চৌধুরী, শহীদ আহমদ চৌধুরী (পিডিজি), এ কে এম আব্দুস সোবহানসহ জমজম বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ের দায়িত্বশীল ব্যক্তিবর্গ। এছাড়াও শিক্ষার্থী, অভিভাবক ও সমাজের বিভিন্ন শ্রেণি-পেশার প্রতিনিধিরা অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
শিক্ষা উৎসবের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ ছিল জমজম বাংলাদেশ-এর আওতাধীন বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের শিক্ষা ও উন্নয়নমূলক কার্যক্রমের প্রদর্শনী। প্রদর্শনীতে জমজম ট্রেনিং ইনস্টিটিউট তাদের বর্তমান কার্যক্রম ও ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা একটি সুসংগঠিত ও উদ্ভাবনী মডেলের মাধ্যমে উপস্থাপন করে। আকর্ষণীয় উপস্থাপনার জন্য প্রদর্শনীতে জমজম ট্রেনিং ইনস্টিটিউট প্রথম স্থান অর্জন করে।
অনুষ্ঠানের শেষ পর্বে জমজম বাংলাদেশ-এর বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পের কৃতি শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে এক্সিলেন্স অ্যাওয়ার্ড প্রদান করা হয়।
উল্লেখ্য, একইদিন সন্ধ্যায় জমজম একাডেমিতে ‘পথনির্দেশনা: পরিবার ও সমাজে আধ্যাত্মিকতা ও আধুনিকতার সমন্বয়’ শীর্ষক একটি ইসলামী সেশন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন শাইখ মাহমুদুল হাসান।
‘Education Festival’ Held Under the Initiative of Zamzam Bangladesh
Sylhet: With the aim of making social welfare–based educational activities more dynamic and effective, an “Education Festival” was organized under the initiative of Zamzam Bangladesh. The event was held on Tuesday (30 December) at the hallroom of Zamzam Academy, located in Raynagar Daptaripara of Sylhet city.
Emphasis on Ethics and Moral Values in Education
The program was presided over by Moin Uddin Chowdhury, Founder Chairman of Zamzam Bangladesh. The chief guest of the event was Sheikh Mahmudul Hasan, a renowned Islamic scholar, writer, and Director of TV One, who arrived from the United Kingdom. In his speech, he highlighted the indispensable role of Islamic values in education, ethics, and the formation of ideal human beings.
The event began with a welcome address delivered by Mahbub Sobahani Chowdhury, Executive Director of Zamzam Bangladesh, who presented a brief overview of the organization’s ongoing educational and social development initiatives.
Presence of Distinguished Guests
Among others present at the event were Ataur Rahman Pir, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee; Directors Shabbir Ahmad Chowdhury and Jasim Uddin; Dr. Wali Tasar Uddin; Aftab Chowdhury; Shahid Ahmad Chowdhury (PDG); A.K.M. Abdus Sobhan; along with other officials of Zamzam Bangladesh. Students, guardians, and representatives from various professional and social backgrounds also attended the program.
Exhibition of Educational and Development Projects
One of the major attractions of the Education Festival was the exhibition showcasing educational and development-oriented activities of various projects under Zamzam Bangladesh. At the exhibition, Zamzam Training Institute presented its current activities and future plans through a well-organized and innovative model. Owing to its impressive presentation, Zamzam Training Institute secured first place as the most attractive project.
Awards for Meritorious Students
In the concluding segment of the program, Excellence Awards were distributed among meritorious students from different projects of Zamzam Bangladesh.
Islamic Session Held in the Evening
It is noteworthy that on the same evening, an Islamic session titled “Guidance: Harmonizing Spirituality and Modernity in Family and Society” was held at Zamzam Academy. Sheikh Mahmudul Hasan attended the session as the chief guest and delivered an insightful address.
